Mission Statement
Real Education at Children’s Hands (R.E.A.C.H), seeks to improve inner city at-risk youth’s quality of life, by providing mentoring, tutoring and counseling as well as various enrichment programs to entice our youth to strive for higher education. We also seek to motivate them to know that their hopes, dreams and aspirations can be REACHED, if they stay focused and stay in school. R.E.A.C.H provides training on highly needed skills to prepare our youth for Corporate America, as well as going to an Ivy League school to attain a higher degree of education. R .E.A.C.H also is preparing our youth to be actively involved in the community by maintaining set hours of community service, and building a strong presence throughout the city as a positive driving force.

Description:
Tutoring
• We offer tutoring to students who need the extra help in any subject to achieve maximum learning. We guarantee a whole letter grade improvement by next progress report/report card
Mentoring
• We offer a positive mentoring program for students that just need someone to help you along the way, and assist you in college preparation and or workforce ready development. Our counselors are here to listen and educate.
Counseling
• We offer private or open counseling sessions on education, life, employment, and career choices, and any subject of concern that a student would like to discuss. If we cant assist you with your specific need, we will refer you to the proper office that can help.
Family Team Building
• We promote total family excellence, giving classes and training on family building exercises, getting the student, parent and staff involved in games and activities to strengthen their relationship, and community development.
Activities and Programs

Educational Programs
• Job Ready Skills- Prepares students for the workforce and trade fields. I.e., build resume, interview skills, and appearance development.
• Financial Literacy- prepares students and introduces them into them into the world of financial management. (certificate course)
• Intro to Life- Introduces young men and women into the challenges and obstacles in life, and the solutions and tips to overcome them.
• Manhood- prepares boys and young men, how to be a man and treat others how they want to be treated.
• Womanhood- prepares girls and young women how to be women, treat and respect themselves as women.
• Team Building- strengthens confidence, social skills, and social perception skills to prepare for public acceptance. Exercises are fun and good learning experiences.

Community Service
Community Involvement
• Our program is required to complete a set amount of community service ours for the community, this will allow the students a chance to give back to their city. We are reaching out to several agencies listed below.

• We offer computer based training for parents
• Resume preparation and job ready skills
• We can refer for GED preparation if needed
