Animal Allies

Animal Allies provides rescue, home-foster care, and adoption placement to homeless dogs and cats. We also focus on issues that vitally affect shelter and homeless pets, such as spay/neuter, health and education. There are still more than 40,000 New Jersey cats and dogs dying in shelters every year in our state. Help us protect them--we want every pet to have a home!

Description:
We serve homeless companion animals and owned pets in need in the Hopewell-Trenton area and in other areas when possible. Pets that enter our rescue program receive comprehensive medical care, including spay/neuter, so that they will be healthy and ready for adoption to their forever home. For the time that they are with us, we consider our foster pets as our own, so they are integrated into our families and receive love, care, and training.

History:
Animal Allies was founded in 1996 in response to the very great need to preserve the lives of innocent pets while showing them respect and compassion. Today, we are proud to network with other local organizations with similar missions to save and enhance the lives of our New Jersey pets. We are a founding member of the New Jersey Animal Rescue Coalition.
