The Ideas Center needs tutors in core subjects. Volunteers can work any time during the school day (7:30am-3:00pm) or after school 3:00pm-4:00pm. Volunteer Tutors provide the support that many students have not had at home and can be the catalyst for a successful school year. Subjects include: English, Geometry, Algebra, PreCalculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, US History, Spanish, French, Italian, Latin The Ideas Center sponsors a a variety of special programs - SAT Essay Writing, How to find a summer job, Test Taking Skill and Time Management. Speakers and new program ideas are always welcome!
Volunteers will need to commit to a certain time/day for several weeks in order to provide structure for students. Special Event Speaker need only a good idea ! This opportunity is sponsored by: Princeton High School Ideas Center

The Ideas Center is on the 2nd floor of the high school (which is located approximately 4 blocks from Nassau St). Volunteers should report to the main office which is located on their immediate left upon entering. |
