General Description of Project:
The Club recently opened a new community center in Lawrence and have an existing site in Ewing. They seek a plan to build better awareness of both Club’s programs and services to area residents .
A minimum of 3 years in business strategy and/or marketing. An MBA is a plus.
- Gain an understanding of Club activities, purpose and mission to develop a strategy for increasing awareness.
- Submit written recommendations to the Club professional staff and/or Board on a strategy to enhance awareness and get the best returns on the Club’s investments.
- Develop an annual implementation strategy of the plan, based on approval.
- Support identifying and recruiting resources to enable the Club staff to implement this new strategy.
Expected Outcomes/Outputs of Project:
Written annual awareness plan, presented to the Club Staff and/or Board.
Approximately 30-40 hours; can be completed virtually after initial meeting
About the Organization:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County provides young people, ages 5 to 18, in Mercer County with social, enrichment and recreational activities through after-school, weekend, and summer programs. Program focus on improving youth outcomes in education & careers, character development & leadership, and developing healthy lifestyles through physical activity and healthy living.Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County after school and enrichment programs.
Each year, more than 2,600 youths in the Greater Mercer County area attend programs in our Trenton Clubhouse, six public school sites in the City of Trenton, and our Clubhouse in Lawrence Twp. Teens from five area high schools enroll in job preparation programs, complete paid internships, and prepare for post-graduate careers. More than 700 children and teens attend our summer camps.
