Volunteer Title: Named Scholarship Program Researcher

General Description of Project: Princeton Youth Orchestra is looking for a volunteer to research online and/or find former Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra members that may have achieved prominence (any career, not just music) that might like to have a named Scholarship after them.

Job Tasks:

  • Become familiar with the organization, mission, history and goals.
  • Research GYPO alumni going further back than 10 years.
  • Identify scholarship criteria and names.

Experience Required: Internet research, data collection, critical thinking and analysis.

Time Commitment: 40 hours – most of the work can be done off site with 2 in-person planning and touch points during the project.
